This original plein-air oil painting was created in Lutry, Switzerland, on 3 June 2026. The artwork captures a view through the lush green vineyards of Lavaux towards the turquoise waters of Lake Geneva and the distant Alpine mountains.

In the foreground, sunlit vines and expressive green foliage frame the historic architecture of the lakeside village. Beyond the vineyards, the luminous lake stretches towards the mountains, where soft blue and violet tones meet the changing colours of the sky. Bold brushstrokes and vibrant colours convey the freshness of early summer in the Swiss landscape.

Lutry lies within the Lavaux wine-growing region of the Canton of Vaud, renowned for its terraced vineyards overlooking Lake Geneva.
